NARRATIVE = FUTURE

My name is Astika Christia Destin. I’m a student of Sanata Dharma University in Jogjakarta. I belong to English Language Education Study Program. Actually, I didn’t want to be a teacher. I never wonder that I’ll become a teacher later. When I was in senior high school, I want to continue my study in an international communication.

I love to learn English. I got English lessons since I was in elementary school. Learning English is interesting for me. That’s why I want to continue my study in an international communication. But now, I study in English Language Education Study Program in Sanata Dharma University. It still has a connection with international communication, right? By studying in Sanata Dharma University I hope that I can improve my English skill. For now, I want to study hard and get a great GPA. After I graduate from Sanata Dharma, I want to get a job. Actually, I don’t really want to be a teacher but I’ll try my best for it. I hope I can work in a communication institution. I’ll do my work one or two years first. Then, I want to continue my study in S2 grade. I want to be a successful person.

That’s all about my future plan (for now). I hope I can realize those all.

NARRATIVE = PAST

May 24th 2008 was my wonderful day because it was my sweet seventeen birthdays. I was so happy because I could celebrate my day with my beloved people. I didn’t held a big party with invited many person, but I just celebrate it with my big lovely families. My birthday was held on Saturday night. We went to a big restaurant and ordered a large place. I was very happy because not only my family but also my beloved boyfriend was there. I felt my families were so complete. In that restaurant, I could choose any food that I want to ate. I was ordered so many kinds of food. Our dinner was started with a pray. My father was lead the pray and he was pray for me. After pray, we ate our dinner.

Then after our dinner was finished, we went to a place where sold many kinds of foods. We just had a walk for a moment then we prepared to go home. It was my happy day because I could my wonderful day with my wonderful families. I hope I can celebrate my next birthday with my families again.

NARRATIVE = HABITUAL

Hi.. My name is Astika Christia Destin, but all of my friends and my family call me Tia. Actually, I live in Boyolali town because I continue my study in Jogjakarta, so I moved to Jogjakarta. Now, I stay in my boarding house which is located not so far from my campus. In this chance, I’m going to tell you about my daily activities.

I usually wake up at 5.00 a.m. and make my bed tidy. I always begin my new day with a pray. After that, I cleans my room and at 5.30 a.m. I usually take a bath. After take a bath, I prepare my materials to go to campus. After my class is finished I usually have a lunch with my friends. In the afternoon, in my boarding house I always use my spare time to take a rest and to refresh my mind for a while. After that I go to take a bath. I usually take a bath at 5.00 p.m. and after that I do my homework. At 7.00 p.m. I usually have a dinner with my boarding house mates and after dinner we continued to study. At 10.30 p.m. I must go to sleep to keep my energy for next day and I always do my pray before I sleep.

This is my daily activities, so simple. I do it from Monday until Friday. On Friday, my holiday is begun because on Saturday I have no class, so I can go to my lovely hometown, Boyolali.
